Edmund Clarke is a Senior Research Fellow and Head of the Molecular Beam Epitaxy Group for the EPSRC National Epitaxy Facility at the University of Sheffield. He received a PhD in Physics from Imperial College London in 2005 and following postdoctoral positions at Imperial he joined the National Epitaxy Facility in 2010. He is responsible for growth of III-V semiconductors by molecular beam epitaxy and has specialised in growth of quantum dot devices and microcavities for quantum technology applications.
