Dr Giovanni Rosotti

Dr Giovanni Rosotti is an Ernest Rutherford Fellow and ERC Starting Grant recipient in the School of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Leicester. His research focuses on proto-planetary discs, the cradles where planets form and grow, and he is particularly interested in the processes regulating disc evolution and dispersal, as well as the interaction between the disc and the growing young planets. While he is mainly a theorist, his work sits at the interface between theory and observations.
