ONNES TECHNOLOGIES introduces
arQtika, a new class of cryogenic nanopositioner systems that is specifically tailored for the use in low temperature experiments. In cryogenic experiments the conditions are extreme and often result in malfunctioning nanopositioners and unwanted delays. The reliance on classic stick-slip nanopositioning solutions inherently include too many inconvenient fragilities in low temperature setups. Therefore, Onnes Technologies said goodbye to the stick-slip technology and now offers a novel solution based on our innovative WALKING TECHNOLOGY. Our
arQtika product distinguishes itself from stick-slip in many different superior characteristics, such as negligible heat dissipation, extremely low vibration levels and little drift, long (scanning) range and accurate positioning with integrated capacitance sensor for closed-loop operation, large payload, all concealed in a compact, non-magnetic cube compatible with standard wiring and low frequency electronics. We’re pretty excited about this! So, feel free to visit us on onnestechnologies.com, reach out to us on info@onnestechnologies.com or visit our booth at CMD29.
ONNES TECHNOLOGIES is a Netherlands-based, Quantum Technology startup. We develop and build cryogenic nanopositioning tools dedicated for physics research at milli-kelvin temperatures. At Onnes we aim to push the frontiers of Quantum Technology, for which we work in close collaboration with leading scientists from Leiden University and Delft University of Technology.
