Yohsuke Imai is a professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Kobe University. He received his PhD in engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2005. Prior to joining Kobe University, he worked as an Assistant Professor and a Project Associate Professor at Tohoku University, and a Project Associate Professor at Osaka University. He was also a Visiting Scholar at Universite de Technologie de Compiegne in 2008. His research interests include computational biomechanics, gastrointestinal flows, cell behaviors, complex fluids, and computational methods.
