Jean-Philippe Noël 

Jean-Philippe Noël (MSc ’10 – PhD ’14) is an assistant professor at KU Leuven, Belgium, and is also a member of the editorial board of the well-known Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing journal. His main research interests concern the data-driven modelling and control of nonlinear dynamic systems, with a special focus on mechanical and aerospace systems. Today, with his research collaborators, he tends to employ more and more regularly machine learning techniques in conjunction with more classical system identification and control engineering tools.
