James Blakesley

James is a Principal Research Scientist and Science Area Leader for Electronic and Magnetic Materials at the National Physical Laboratory, United Kingdom. He specialises in the application of measurement science and modelling to support innovation, scale-up and adoption of new photovoltaic technologies, providing confidence to the market and reducing technical risks for investors. He is active in the international metrology and standardisation communities, with recent contributions to bifacial PV performance and monitoring standards and IEA reports on PV energy rating.
